The DeafBlind community experiences kindness in ways that many people never think about. A person who introduces themselves before starting a conversation. Someone who takes the time to describe a beautiful view. A helping hand offered with respect. A moment of patience instead of hurry.
These small acts may seem ordinary, but they leave a lasting impression.
The same is true for the animals who depend on our care. A little kindness, a little patience and a little love can completely change a life.
This week, look for the small opportunities. Hold the door. Share a smile. Offer a helping hand. Show a little extra patience. Care has a remarkable way of growing when it’s shared.
