🟠 Week 2: Our Dreams – Youth, Aspirations
Riddle
What begins in the heart, grows with encouragement, and shapes the future — yet can fade if ignored?
(Answer: Dreams.)
Key Observance
In early July, we have no major global day, but it’s the perfect time to celebrate DeafBlind youth and the power of dreams. Because every young person deserves the chance to imagine a life beyond barriers — and early July can be a fresh start to set intentions for the second half of the year.
Main Message
Our theme this week, Our Dreams, is all about the hopes and goals of DeafBlind youth. They face extra challenges — like limited access to education, misunderstandings from peers, or lack of mentors — but with support, they can achieve extraordinary things.
Dreams fuel courage and help us find direction. When we believe in young people and offer them the tools to succeed, we help build a future where every DeafBlind child can discover their potential and share it with the world.
As Helen Keller said, “The only thing worse than being blind is having sight but no vision.”
This week, let’s nurture dreams and inspire confidence in DeafBlind youth, because their visions shape a better tomorrow for us all.
Wishing you an inspiring, dream-filled week — until we meet again!
