TUESDAY: ACCESSIBILITY TIP
Approach your bank with confidence.
Many banks now offer accessible services , but they’re not always advertised. You may be able to request:
Tactile or embossed bank cards
Braille or large-print statements
SMS or USSD banking (no internet needed)
Voice-assisted ATMs
In-branch support for persons with disabilities
Don’t be afraid to ask. You’re not asking for a favour , you’re claiming your right to access services that work for you.
Start with one question this week: “What accessible options do you have for clients with disabilities?”
It could open doors you didn’t know existed.
